Came across this short film trailer the other day called "Junko's Shamisen" and I found it pretty cool. The aspect and concept of this story was truly unique and amazing. Two things I love the most about Japan is it's culture and art.

Mixing traditional style of Kabuki theater art with urban "Sin City" like style designs is a win for me. Check out the trailer below and tell me what you think. I may have to pay $2.50 out of my wallet to watch this bad boy.

How cool is this?

I just recently won Linkin Park's 8-Bit Rebellion Hero contest over the summer and finally received my prize in the mail today. Again how sweet is this?! Not only did I receive an autograph mini-poster of their 8-Bit Rebellion game but I also received a framed picture of my character design "Kidd Mysterious" signed by the band Linkin Park!

Ever since I was in 7th grade I wanted to be like the guys from Linkin Park especially Mike Shinoda because I really do consider him my idol because of his work ethic and love / passion for the art and music industry. Having the band choosing my character design is honestly a dream come true and I couldn't thank them enough for the exposure because this truly is one of the highlights of my design career.

Kidd Mysterious will also be a playable / featured character for the 8-Bit Rebellion Hero game
so make sure to the download the app. only for the i-Phone, i-Pad, and i-Touch.
So I urge your friends to check the Mysterious one out.

Hello peeps! It's been quite a while since I've blogged on here but let's get this entry started.

Browsing through DeviantART and I came across this piece made by GriftGFX.

I found this piece creative and very moving. Yes, that pixel image you see there is Mr. Pac-Man himself but the message of the design speaks loud and clear about on what we (the people) need to contribute in order to help starving men, women, and children all over the world. Support GriftGFX's t-shirt in order to help feed the planet.

Hello, I would like to officially welcome you "people of the world" to my bloggerspot a.k.a blog.
In my bloggerspot I'll primary discuss "cool" stuff meaning the topics and trends of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I'll also be displaying some of my projects I've been working on. So all I have to say is "yeah..." and like the title says there are first of many to come and it begins now.

Til again I'll see you all next week ^_^

Just had to show this. If you don't know who this gentleman is sporting the wicked plain black hat and glasses his name is Pierre Benard and used to be the graphic artist/designer for Conan O'Brien during the Late Night Show & Tonight Show.

Currently he's unemployed with the rest of the former Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien crew and is currently looking for a job and possibly some job advice at a comic book convention. I found this hilarious!!! And I personally understand Pierre's struggle and situation on finding that "RIGHT" job. Enjoy my friends!
